17A- Elevator Pitch #2

One piece of important feedback that I got was that my hook was captivating, so I decided not to change it at all.  This was helpful in gaining confidence throughout my elevator pitch.  I was surprised that in my peer review I was told to use more enthusiasm because I thought my enthusiasm was solid.  However, in this updated elevator pitch I tried to be very enthusiastic and use my hands because body language can be very key when trying to portray a message.  Also, in my first elevator pitch I was sitting down which I know now was a downfall in my pitch.  In my second elevator pitch I was standing and I think this was an improvement on my pitch.   Overall, I think doing these elevator pitches take practice and time to perfect.  Overall, I was happy with how it turned out and think.  Overall, I did not make any major changes to my pitch but rather focused on trying to perfect the smaller things as much as possible.  I hope to continue to work on this in the future.

  1. I like your enthusiasm! I think your hook is great, so I am glad that you did not change that. I definitely think that standing was an improvement for you in your pitch. Your thoughts were obviously well thought-out because you knew what you were saying. Maybe next time you could include some sort of prop to give the audience an idea of what the product would look like. Overall you did a great job!

  2. Hey Max,
Great job on your second rendition of your elevator pitch. I definitely think that your hook was very captivating and I am glad you didn’t change it. You also did a great job of incorporating more hand gestures into your pitch. This makes you seem more enthusiastic and passionate about the product you are trying to sell (which is always a good thing). Great post.

  3. Hey,
I thought your elevator pitch was a lot better this time around. You were a lot more enthusiastic and it really made a difference. I liked how you were able to captivate your audience in the beginning. I have watched several elevator pitches and I felt like yours had a lot of energy. Overall I thought you did a great job. Next time just try to explain your product in more detail, and maybe describe it better.

  4. Hello!
This is a great pitch! The change for your first pitch to your second one is noticeable. This one felt more engaging! Standing and using varous hand motions and gestures definitely played a role in engagement. Moreover, I think your passion for the product is truly revealed in this pitch. As always, I am looking forward to the day I can purchase your product!

  5. Hey,
That was a great elevator pitch and I thought you much improved since the last time you did the elevator pitch. The enthusiasm was great for the product and the range of your voice really showed an emotional connection to your product which in fact got me interested in the product. I think that next time maybe include a little bit more details about the product itself but other than that great job.
